History and Our Founding Director Chanda Mills Crutcher
Founded by Huntsville First Certified Geriatric Case Manager and Alabama’s first registered Guardian, ASAP Inc. was established on four value pillars; Integrity, Experience, Faith, and Knowledge.
With almost 25 years’ experience in senior services/long-term care the one thing that has remained consistent is Mrs. Crutcher’s desire to help older adults ‘finish well’. Mrs. Crutcher has witnessed worse case scenarios for the elderly due to lack of proper planning and advocacy. The vision of ASAP is to assist older and disabled adults to live in the least restrictive environment, preserve their assets, and enjoy the highest quality of life as defined by the individual.
ASAP Inc. is the 1st Firm of its kind in North Alabama. As the 1st registered guardian in the state, Mrs. Crutcher’s desire is that ASAP‘s experience and spirit of innovative excellence will change the way older and disabled adults in the Region are prepared for Aging!
Mrs. Crutcher has served on several nonprofit boards, including the Regional Board of Directors for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Mid- South Chapter. As an educator, strategist, and private consultant, Mrs. Crutcher has had an impact on the elder’s lives regionally and internationally. Lastly, Mrs. Crutcher was appointed to the Governor’s Alzheimer’s Task force in 2014.
